The Constellation Cetus

Over the next few weeks, I aim to present many of the images I have captured over the last few years as they appear in their respected constellations.

Today I’ve picked Cetus, the “Sea Monster”, a large constellation close to the celestial equator so visible in both Northern and Southern hemispheres during certain times of the year. Cetus in Greek mythology was the great sea monster chained to rocks, awaiting Andromeda’s sacrifice.

The first image displays a map of the constellation, and the targets acquired, with a detailed description of each one. From then onwards the images I have captured in all their glory!

Hope you enjoy the tour. Any questions please just ask

Cheers

Rich
