The Flaming Star Nebula IC 405 on the right is an emission and reflection nebula 5 light years in diameter and situated 1,500 light years from Earth in the constellation of Auriga. The central star is believed to have originated in the constallation of Orion. Bottom left is the Tadpole nebula IC 410. Situated at about 12,000 light years from Earth, the cloud of glowing gas is over 100 light years in diameter. Can you see the two tadpoles swimming in the blue lagoon?. This picture was published in the 2023 June edition of the BBC Sky at Night magazine.
