Imaging the Moon Mars Conjunction December 8th 2022

In the early morning of December 8th 2022, a conjunction occurred between the full “Cold Moon and the Planet Mars. The planet Mars would set behind the Moon then rise from behind it.

Planning the event on Stellarium showed Mars would set at around 04:55 then rise around 05:59.

The next stage setting up the telescope to capture the event which would be occurring low in the Western sky. Luckily, clear skies held!

The scope set up with ZWO 2600 camera
